We are thrilled to share key updates on our governance, structural evolution, and ongoing compliance journey as we advance our mission.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone from Grupo LACASA who visited us from September 7th to the 10th. It was a true pleasure hosting such an enthusiastic group representing diverse departments across the company—from quality and HR to production.

The government had built a neonatal unit in Bocanda, but it had remained completely nonoperational for several years due to a lack of staff training. The Foundation’s assistance helped fund and organize training for nurses, transforming the building into a fully functional unit.

As a result of the population growth in Bocanda—which SOLEA has been supporting for over a decade—the city is facing a serious waste management problem. To address this situation, the LACASA KKO Foundation plans to assist the local municipality. The goal is to implement the first phase of installing waste collection points that will be distributed throughout the city. An initial prototype of these collection points can be seen in the attached photo.

This week, the Foundation distributed 130 school kits in the village of Gbanan Koffikro, a SOLEA partner village. These complete kits included dresses for girls and khaki shorts and shirts for boys. The event took place in a covered courtyard built and donated by the Foundation.

The Foundation continues its commitment to fostering economic independence through targeted philanthropy.

Maxime is a local tailor (couturier) who has served the Bocanda community for years. Recently, his shop, Mercerie Maxime, was devastated by a fire.

In February 2025, the Lacasa KKO Foundation furthered its commitment to the communities of Bocanda, Côte d'Ivoire, through two significant new initiatives.

On January 27, 2026, Foundation Lacasa KKO conducted a vital health awareness mission in the village of Kotokounou, located in the Bocanda region.

This past January, the Lacasa KKO Foundation held the second edition of our free mobile health clinics, specifically serving the villages of Kotokounou and Djahassou.

Under the KOTAKO micro-credit program, and with the active support of the LACASA KKO Foundation, Julianna has become a shop owner — a milestone that brings both independence and opportunity.

Our team distributed school kits to all pupils of the École LACASA KKO, giving each child the tools they need for a strong and confident start to the school year.

LACASA KKO Foundation proudly completed the construction of its second community center, located in the village of Djahassou.

Through our Tché-Wa program, we walk alongside people with disabilities in the region, offering not just financial support but also the guidance they need to bring their entrepreneurial dreams to life.
