LACASA KKO Cup, La Journée du Chocolat Chaud and Les Ecrans de Kotokounou
LACASA KKO Cup - First Edition in Kotokounou: In the final week of July, the village of Kotokounou proudly hosted the inaugural edition of the LACASA KKO Cup, a new sporting initiative launched by the LACASA KKO Foundation to promote youth engagement through football. This first tournament brought together six local teams. Representing Grupo LACASA, Macarena LACASA and Joan ROMAGOSA were present to award trophies and prizes to all participating teams, celebrating not just the winners but the collective effort and enthusiasm of the youth. The LACASA KKO Cup is set to become an annual event, with plans already underway to extend invitations to neighboring villages for future editions. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s broader mission to empower rural youth through sport, education, and community development.
La Journée du Chocolat Chaud: In the village of Kotokounou, Grupo LACASA hosted a warm and joyful hot chocolate tasting event, bringing people together around the comforting flavors of their own in-house chocolate powder. Prepared freshly onsite by the team, the rich and aromatic hot chocolate was served to villagers of all ages, creating a moment of shared delight and discovery. This gathering not only offered the community the chance to savor the authentic taste of LACASA’s chocolate but also strengthened bonds through a simple, heartfelt tradition of sharing.
Les Ecrans de Kotokounou: The newly installed video projector within the community center at Kotokounou hosted it's first screeening, a documentary on the cocoa sector.
