Laying The First Stone — A Moment of Commitment

In November 2023, the LACASA KKO Foundation marked the official start of a dream with a special ceremony to lay the foundation stone of ECOLE LACASA KKO in the village of Kotokounou. This symbolic event brought together local villagers and visiting teams from Grupo LACASA and KKO International, who traveled from afar to personally take part in this milestone.

Surrounded by community members, village elders, and excited children, the teams gathered to place the first stone — a gesture that reflected not just the start of construction, but a deep and shared commitment to education and rural development. The moment was filled with hope, unity, and purpose, setting the tone for what would soon become a vibrant center of learning for generations to come.

A Diplomatic Moment of Support

During their visit to Côte d’Ivoire, the LACASA and KKO International teams had the honor of meeting with the Spanish Ambassador at the Spanish Embassy in Cocody Danga, Abidjan. This encounter provided an opportunity to present the vision and mission of the Foundation, share the impact of our work on the ground, and explore ways in which international partnerships can help advance our goals. The meeting marked a meaningful step in building broader support for our commitment to education, health, and community development in rural Ivory Coast.
